Your Trainer

Karrin Lawrence Is the founder of Pure Clarity Ltd, a coaching and training company which aims to educate and enable people to blossom in their job roles, and to lead others to do the same.

Karrin has worked with Clynol to develope their 6 day Retail Specalist course, and is featured regularly in HJ, submitting articles on her experience and tips of coaching and leading a team to success.

She is a Certified trainer of NLP, and was co-trained and educated by John Grinder who is one of the co-founders of NLP, Carmen Bostic St Clare who is the co-creator of New code NLP, and Michael Carroll who is the founder of The NLP Academy in London.  
Karrin is also a Master hypnotist and Master Practitioner of Time-line therapy ™ as trained by David Shepard of The Performance Partnership.

Karrin was an exemplary technician in her past business which was that of the Hair and Beauty industry, where she won various creative competitions and has been very successful having worked at all levels, from trainee to General manager in charge of multi site operations, and being responsible for the well fare of over 50 staff members.
In 1998 Karrin made the leap from technician to manager in a business of just 10 people.  As a very successful technician and a popular team mate, she now had the responsibility of enabling others to be able to do the same. The business grew to over 24 people, and she found herself completely unprepared for the stresses and challenges of this role or managing her team.
Karrin attended various courses on managing the business, with only a small proportion of the training being given to “how to” lead her team.  Highly dissatisfied with the amount of training that was available to her at a small business level, she set out to educate herself.

In 2002 she won the British Hairdressing Business Awards manager of the year award, which specifically centred on the skills that Karrin had brought to her team, and in turn how the motivation of the team had enabled the business to grow and flourish. She continues to develop her knowledge in this area.  She is currently a member of the ITANLP, GONLP, BBNLP and MSFTR.
